Children and Family Centres provide families and young children with a range of services including family support and outreach to parents, child and family health services, a base for childminders, and links to Jobcentre Plus that will improve the outcomes of children and families. We are looking for Information Assistants to work in our centres covering Rural Haywards Heath and Rural Burgess Hill to provide a face-to-face welcoming first point of contact. You will co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the mobile vehicle/centre including the public access internet and reception duties. This role provides information to members of the public requiring details of childcare provision and other family support issues and support for activities running within the centre. As these are both rural projects there will be a certain amount of travelling around the Mid Sussex area and use of your own car is essential.
