In the near future I will be working closely with my client, a construction company based next to Gatwick Airport, to recruit for a permanent and full-time Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role entails:

• VAT Returns
• Taxation work
• Cashflow Forecasting
• Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Treasury
• Preparing statutory accounts

The ideal candidate for this role WILL:

• If not fully ACCA or ACA qualified, be coming towards the end of a qualification
• Have a passion for financial accounting rather than management accounts
• Have AT LEAST 2-3 years' experience within a financial accounting environment
• Have worked within an accountancy practice previously (highly desirable, though not essential)
