Management Accountant
Central Woking, Surrey
£55,000 + Parking, Healthcare and Pension.

A dynamic Management Accountant is required who is Fully Qualified to produce monthly management accounts, financial analysis and daily reporting for various businesses of the group within the South division, managing a team of 4 to achieve objectives.

Key Duties:
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
• Investigate variances with relevant staff and discuss with the Regional Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer
• Assist in production of statutory accounts
• Investigate and complete audits.
• Produce concise financial information and reporting to the board
• Aid in the decision making, including financial analysis, budget setting, forecasting and cost control techniques.
• Lead on the monthly forecast call for the Division.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
• Investigate all major discrepancies and provide report to board
• Provide expert financial and commercial support to the Directors and managers of the business.
• Management and development of a team of 4 including appraisals, training, recruitment and 1:1's
• Identify and Implement change management processes

Candidate Specification:
• Full Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) and relevant post qualification financial accounting experience in a commercial organisation.
• Strong working knowledge and experience of financial reporting and preparation of statutory accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of financial systems and controls, including Excel and preferably Navision
• Strong man management experience
• Change Management and Process Improvement
• Able to critically appraise the financial systems, processes and controls, and identify and implement changes to the processes and procedures to strengthen the control environment.
