Make every day meaningful — for someone else and for you.
At The Aldingbourne Trust, we believe everyone deserves the chance to live a full, independent, and joyful life. As a Community-Based Support Worker, you’ll empower people with learning disabilities and autism to do just that — in their own homes, in their communities, and out doing the things they love.
If you’re compassionate, creative, and looking for a role where no two days are ever the same… we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doingEvery day brings something different. You might be:
- Supporting someone to plan their weekly shop
- Heading out to the cinema, a fitness class, or a local café
- Helping someone manage their home — cooking, cleaning, or daily tasks
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and new experiences
- Lone working in the community, making decisions and using your initiative
- Building strong, trusting relationships that make a real difference
You don’t need experience — just the right values and attitude.
We’d love you to have:
- A genuine passion for supporting people
- Great communication and people skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive outlook
- Flexibility to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends
- A car and driving licence (mileage paid), due to the nature of the role you will be travelling around Bognor Regis
Experience in care or a Health & Social Care qualification is helpful but not essential — full training is provided.
What we offer- 33 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays) (For Full-Time hours)
- Life Assurance – 2 x annual salary (For Full-Time hours)
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Blue Light Card (funded)

- Staff discounts across our Café, Shop, Horticulture and more
