MotorSport Vision (MSV), Europe’s leading race circuit operator, is currently seeking a Social Media and Communications Executive to work within the Head Office, at the legendary Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.

Owned by former Formula One driver Jonathan Palmer, MSV’s impressive portfolio of circuits spans across the UK and Europe after the recent acquisition of one of Spain’s leading motorsport venues Circuito de Navarra. MSV venues host some of the highest profile race series in Europe, including the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Bennetts British Superbike Championship, Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation within the world of motorsport.

The Role:

Working within the media team at Brands Hatch, you will assist with the promotion of several areas of the business through social media platforms including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram as well as video platforms and within the local, national and specialist press.

The job will also include hands-on involvement at major race meetings across all MotorSport Vision circuits as well as assisting with the day-to-day organisation of the MSV press office. You will also have the opportunity to assist with the promotion of MSV-run championships including an active role in promoting the UK's leading single-seater championship GB3 and its sister series GB4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating MSV's circuit and event social media channels (primarily Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and responding to queries
  • Assist with the management of MSV's media accreditation system, maintaining relationships with key journalists and photographers throughout the season
  • Contribute to race weekend web and social media cover across MSV's digital platforms. Days will be repaid in lieu for weekend work
  • Contributing to MSV's editorial output online and in print (including web stories, press releases and race event programmes)
  • Assisting with creative strategies to boost MSV's online presence on social media - including expansion on to new platforms

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Excellent writing skills, with good grammar, spelling and attention to detail are essential to the role
  • Prior experience writing professional motorsport articles is essential
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for key social media platforms
  • BA(Hons) degree in a related field is desirable
  • Good organisational skills and time management
  • Desire to work as part of a creative team, alongside in-house graphics, and IT departments
  • A full UK driving licence is essential due to the need to travel to our remotely located circuits.

This role could suit either a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their media career with a strong interest in motorsport, passion for writing, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As this role involves attending race events, you will be required to work weekends throughout the race season.

This role is based full-time in MSV's Brands Hatch office. Due to the location of the sites you will be working at, a driving licence and your own transport is essential to the role.
