We are looking for a positive, flexible, and creative Café Support Worker to join our friendly team at MAKE. This is an exciting role where you will be expected to provide creative support within our Café located in Fratton. You will be responsible for supporting people with learning disabilities to develop and progress their learning and gain skills within the catering environment, whilst providing a high standard of service to our customers.

You will promote a positive and welcoming environment in the café, to grow and expand our Cafe by providing balanced menus, daily specials, cake, afternoon teas, brunches, outside catering, creative events, dinner experiences and more.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and daily running of the Café; to comply with all food safety standards are met and maintain a 5* rating, both within the kitchen environment and the customer service areas.  Customer focus is a critical requirement and the post holder with be responsible to meet high standards.

You will be flexible and an active team player and be required and willing to work at our occasional seasonal and evening events.

The post holder will be a role model for the people we support and ensure a high standard of catering and customer service is maintained and always delivered.  You will actively raise awareness and promote MAKE as a community of place and people.
