University of Chichester Academy Trust

Located in the popular seaside resort of Bognor Regis, the University of Chichester Academy Trust, is an innovative Trust, comprising 15 academies across Hampshire, Portsmouth and West Sussex, with a growth plan to c25-30. This is a new post to the Trust and will enable you to fully immerse yourself in identifying and leading on all capital improvement projects to the value of up to 1M, overseeing the effective management of the Trust Academy Estates. In addition, there will be unique opportunities to influence new build projects, for the benefit of the Trust community.

Travelling extensively to oversee projects, you will ensure they are completed to the specification and standard required and within the time and budget agreed. Projects will be scheduled to minimise disruption to schools, and which ensure the safety and welfare of children and staff. As an educator of the next generation, we are committed to sustainable projects. With this in mind, you will lead the Energy Transformation Plan to achieve a reduction in the carbon footprint of the Trust.

We believe, the education of our children is enhanced by the environment in which they learn. With strong technical skills and educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, you will have a strong working knowledge and currency of building regulations and school building standards, CDM and Health and Safety regulations, an enthusiasm for education and an ability to work with headteachers and contractors to secure inspiring education environments.
