Sourcing a Human Resources vacancy is not a typical job that Harvey John recruits for, but we're pleased to assist a Sussex based accountancy firm with their first HR hire.

Based principally at the Brighton office, you'll play a key role with visibility across the firm. As this is a new role, you'll have a blank canvas in terms of implementing new HR and recruitment processes so experience in this area would be invaluable. The firm has ambitious growth plans so you'll be instrumental in assisting with the onboarding of new members to the team as well as the administration of all employees from an HR point of view.

In general, the role will include:

• Providing administration support for the recruitment process to include placing adverts and managing the responses; screening CV's, organising interviews with all stakeholders and delivering feedback; formalising offers, issuing contract paperwork and ensuring that accurate pre-employment checks are carried out.
• Employee Lifecycle Administration to include all paperwork for new starters, contract changes and leavers; updating staff records for holiday and sick leave etc.

This role is available on a part time basis with your preferred work pattern discussed on application although a presence in the office each day is preferred.

The salary advertised should be viewed as a market rate guide and has been set by the agency.
