Permanent Way Design Engineer (Rail)

We are looking for a Permanent Way Design Engineer for their Rail Division where the successful candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed track design and calculations within an implantation project, track renewal, or track amendments resultant from other railway asset renewals.

You will also be responsible for permanent way design input and draft track calculations to multidiciplinary design teams on medium sized projects. Work content will also involve and include: MX Rail design, CAD Drawings and assisting in all permanent way design activities..

Candidates considered
BENG or HNC / HND in relevant technical disipline or equivalent
familiarity with railway standards is essential.
Excellent working knowledge of desiging for UK railways
Knowledge of working in a multi disiplinary design office.
Good working knowledge of Track Software packages (MX Rail, Microstation, AutoACD, Laser Rail). Knowledge of Hallade Plain Line Design
