YMCA DownsLink Group is an ambitious organisation with a clear vision for transforming young lives through working in a community minded way. Its strategy has set a clear direction to develop its work with young people with far greater support and involvement of the wider communities in which we work. If the ambition of our strategy is to be realised we will need to continue to increase funds raised through community fundraising.  

We are recruiting a Community Fundraising Officer to identify, build and develop partnerships with community and business organisations and maximise the potential of individual supporters. You must have proven experience of fundraising in the charitable or community sector, managing fundraising events and running fundraising campaigns, with a track record of meeting fundraising aims. The role will include specific targets for increasing funds raised through community fundraising activities.

You will be part of a Communications and Fundraising Team and will be expected to organise, manage and prioritise your own workload with periods of minimal supervision.

The organisation hopes to grow this area of fundraising and is looking to recruit someone who is proactive and can develop the scope of our fundraising activities.
