Worthing Churches Homeless Projects is a multifunctional, complex needs homelessness organisation that works in Worthing and the surrounding areas. It has over 80 staff and 260 volunteers. Its mission is to end the need to sleep rough.

WCHP currently have over 260 active volunteers who in the last year delivered over 17,500 hours of support. Many of our services could not continue without their input. The Volunteers undertake many different roles including breakfast support at the day centre, shop volunteers, gardening, office support, mentoring and much more. As well as recruiting volunteers to meet the needs of the charity we also seek to organise volunteer opportunities to match the skills provided by volunteers who come to us.

The Volunteer Co-ordinator will report to the Volunteer Manager and will recruit, supervise and liaise with all of Worthing Churches Homeless Projects' volunteers. They will provide effective administrative support of the WCHP volunteer workforce, and ensure WCHP Volunteers are aware of and abide by WCHP policies and procedures.

You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage and plan your own workload and meet deadlines and targets is essential. Good IT Skills are a must.
