About the Role

We think our School is very special. We teach our children through fun, relevant, meaningful and challenging lessons.  We aim to deliver excellence and equality through a creative curriculum that develops the talents and potential of every child.  We make learning irresistible to our children through a ‘hands on’ experience based approach.  We are surrounded by a rich, natural environment that allows us to literally bring the outside right into the classroom and all our teachers are committed to our Forest School Programme.

Having opened in 2009 and moved to our School site in 2010, we currently have 375 children from Reception through to Year 6. We aim to be fully 2 form entry by 2020 with 420 children.

All our staff are enthusiastic and have a passion for making teaching, learning, progress and attainment outstanding for every child. We’re looking for teachers who are happy to contribute to the wider life of the School and who care about our school.  Our new teachers will need to be flexible and committed to their own professional development.

We are currently looking for Class Teachers to join our staff from September 2017. This is likely to be in KS2 but we welcome KS1 applications too. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply; we have a strong internal and locality NQT development programme.  Please note that one of the posts will be a temporary maternity cover from September for the year.
