About the Role

TA2 (WITH MDSA DUTIES) REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2017

The St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation is looking for a new member of staff to add to their existing support staff team. You will be working and based within Framfield CEP School.

We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, energetic, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team to join our welcoming and friendly school for a total of 21.25 hours a week.  The hours will be made up of 16.25 hours TA time (based within KS2) and 5 hours a week MDSA role term time only.

We require an individual who has experience of working with and engaging with children in a calm, innovative and resourceful manner. A good level of English and Maths is required.

TA2 Role:

Starting Grade 3 point 5 14,981 pro rata, 16.25 hours a week.

You should have the skills and abilities necessary for: providing pupil targeted and classroom support; preparing resources and liaising effectively with colleagues, parents and outside agencies; flexible and able to use their own initiative.

The post holder will work closely alongside the class teacher and other support staff as part of our supportive and enthusiastic team. You will be based within a KS2 class.

MDSA:

Single Status grade 1 point 2 14,506 pro rata 5 hours a week.

The successful candidate will work during the lunchtime period leading and promoting playground games and social activity. You will need to be creative and able to work on your own initiative. Experience of working and playing with young children is desirable.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
