Ofsted registered children's home for boys aged 11- 17 years, offering 52-week care and education. It is located just outside the village of Slinfold and is set in beautiful countryside close to the Sussex/Surrey border.

As House Manager you will develop and further enhance the care we provide to adolescent boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties. On a day to day basis you will be accountable and responsible for the care provided in one of the houses.

Care and Education work collaboratively to provide a holistic model which enables our young people to achieve. You will manage a team, delivering consistent care practice in a safe environment where the young people can develop and flourish. A QCF/NVQ 3 is essential (in Children and Young People); a QCF/NVQ 4 would be an additional bonus. You will also have sound, proven knowledge and experience of working with young people in a residential care setting at supervisory, management level.

You will be working in a 6 bedded service in a complex of 3 homes. You will take full responsibility for the service, giving feedback to the care manager.
