Global aviation specialist has a challenging opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA with an audit background in practice to take full responsibility for the group accounts function, thus ensuring financial targets are met and full procedural compliance.

• Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and to the board, your main responsibilities include:
• Compiling year-end statutory accounts
• Preparing group accounts
• Preparing annual budgets
• Assisting with group consolidation
• Preparing quarterly & year-end intercompany balance reconciliations
• Supporting, training & developing local overseas finance staff
• Reviewing process & controls across the group
• Preparing & reviewing month-end procedures including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and balance sheet
• Ensuring group policies are adhered to

To be successful, you must be a qualified ACA or ACCA with strong technical skills gained within a medium to large firm of Chartered Accountants, preferably with audit experience. In addition, you will display a passion for finance and the ability to focus on a given task.
