Assistant Catering Manager - Contract Catering School - £30,000pa

Are you an inspiring & dedicated Manager, perhaps a Food & Beverage Manager wanting to make a move into contract catering? Can you motivate a large team to provide first-class hospitality whilst supporting the ongoing needs of the business?

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Catering Manager/Duty Manager to work for one of the leading contract caterers within schools and B&I, their objectives are simple to provide great food and excellent service!

You would be responsible for the day to day running of the large school catering operation including managing and leading a large team of 24 staff, supporting the Catering manager, booking keeping and accounts, and liaising with suppliers. A big part of their business is hospitality and events including weddings in which you would be a key point of contact for the events, providing show rounds, costings and assisting with the running of the event on the day.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience within Contract Catering and Food & Beverage, able to communicate across all levels.

The hours of work are 40 hours per week, weekends will be required due to the nature of the business.
