Our client is an internationally respected UK based independent firm of Chartered Accountants. As a result of sustained growth, they have retained the services of Search Consultancy exclusively to fill the newly created role of Corporate Services Controller that combines opportunity and reward with prospects and status.

The role of Controller is pivotal in providing an excellent service to a diverse range of clients, supporting managers and supervising junior staff.

Your main duties will include an interesting mix of:
• preparing complex draft financial statements and consolidated financial statements
• acting as audit senior, directing and supervising junior staff, audit planning and completion
• preparing complex corporation tax returns using firm's software
• identifying basic tax & other planning opportunities
• staff training – on the job, performance monitoring & technical research

To be successful, you will be ACA or ACA or CPA qualified, gained within a respectable UK firm of Chartered Accountants. Exceptional candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.

Ambition and the ability to take on more responsibility are also essential qualities for this post.
