Account Executive

Context:
As an account executive you will be recognised as having superb customer handling skills in order to provide a high level of customer response and customer service on a day to day basis
Job Summary:
Operate a front line telephone support and be first point of contact for named accounts. Take responsibility and ownership until query is resolved as appropriate. Exceptional customer focus and a professional approach must be consistent to both external and internal customers.
Job Content:
• Operate a front-line telephone support
• Act as first point of contact for named accounts
• Responsible for resolving day to day queries for your named, including processing of all orders and any correspondence relating to those orders with the customer and other departments
• Work in partnership with the Accounts Department, the Warehouse and our carriers to resolve any issues that may prevent shipment of an order
Performance Standards:
• Customer queries answered immediately
• All customer issues escalated appropriately and immediately
• Complaints investigated immediately
• Adherence to procedures and where they need to be put in place, development of required procedures
Selection Criteria
• Previous knowledge and experience of warehousing or distribution.
• Basic knowledge of international customs requirements, services and documentation.
• Previous customer service experience, working to deadlines & SLA commitments and previous financial responsibility
• MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Outlook
• Able to demonstrate methodical and organised ways of working
