A Community connector post has become Vacant at Maidenbower day centre. You will work as part of the management team at Maidenbower to support people with high level dependency or complex needs.

You will enable every customer at the Day centre to engage in their local community to the best of their ability, our specialist services are aimed at people with Physical, sensory or memory impairment. You will support the recruitment and supervision of volunteers, develop a knowledge and database of local services and allied service provision.

You will be required to work “hands-on” with the clients, performing various activities such as supporting clients with medication, home visits and attending reviews. The Community Connector is also required to participate in the duty officer rota, where all aspects of customer care and support are met.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with this client group, both in the community as well as in the day service. You will be creative, self-motivated, organised and above all, you will be an effective a team player who communicates well at all levels.
