SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

My client is looking for an IT Manager based in West Sussex who will be the responsible of the IT Department for all the UK sites. He will report directly to the UK Country Manager and to the CTO.



Essential

Implementing and administrating Routing & Switching Cisco technologies, Fortinet Firewalls, VPN and wireless networks

* Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to design the network architecture.
* Maintain hardware and software, including servers, network routers and switches, user desktops and laptops, peripherals and wiring.
* Provide service desk support to the users.
* Work with consultants to ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance.
* Coordinate with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.
* Manage computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
* Coordinate third-party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunications services.
* Develop or establish strong relationships with service providers.
* Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
* Train users in the operations of office productivity applications.

CERTIFICATIONS

* CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing & Switching) or CCIE.
* MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSE.
* ITIL Foundation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Professional telecommunications or computing engineer, with deep experience in networking (CISCO, HP & Fortinet mainly), data center management and service desk support.
* Fortinet experience.
* Installing and deploying virtual environments VMWare, Hyper V.
* Administration and implement Virtual Cluster.
* SAN Management (EMC).
* SQL Clusters Management.
* Comprehensive management of Microsoft Windows Server 2012.
* Installation and implementation of Backup Systems.
* Spanish speaking would be a bouns.
