Job Title: Sales Order Administrator - Technical

Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:15
Salary up to £ 24,000
20 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays – rising with length of service

Duties and responsibilities:
1. To discuss the order requirements, checking data with Internal Sales staff and Sales Managers in relation to written quotations and price lists supplied.
2. To prepare the necessary documentation for the order to go for Technical review and production planning.
3. Data entry onto database.
4. Preparing order acknowledgements, and staged payment invoices for customers, discussing logistics and export paperwork requirements as applicable. This may include finalisation of special sales order contract agreements, leasing agreements, and other requests.
5. Liaising with accounts, purchasing and production staff as the order progresses through and keeping the customer informed of progress accordingly.
6. Planning the transport for despatch, working with freight forwarding companies, arranging for despatch to meet delivery requirements.
7. Monitoring progress of goods as they are transported, through to agreed delivery.
8. Keeping abreast of all necessary procedures and documentation for despatch of goods – UK and worldwide.
9. Translation skills, verbal and written, as may be required from time to time, to aid any department as required (if bi-lingual)
10. Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Qualifications Required:
Previous experience of order processing skills and exporting overseas
Confident with good communication skills to liaise with a wide range of worldwide customers
Computer literate - previous experience of an integrated or SAP system.
Meticulous and accurate
Interest and ability to understand and learn the technical properties/data about the product range
Must speak and write fluent English
Bi-lingual – an advantage
