An experienced events specialist is sought by an international company who specialise in the development and manufacture of market leading technologies. This is a busy, fast paced and exciting role which will offer the incumbent a varied and interesting position where they will travel Europe wise for both internal and external events. About You:

* Experience of events management experience in a corporate B2B environment or from an agency
* Team player but also the ability to work on own initiative
* Highest regard towards customer service at all levels
* Excellent IT skills
* Bachelor degree preferable, but not essential
* European languages preferable, but not essential

About the role:

* Support of European events including planning, logistics, delivery and financial monitoring. Working on tight budgets and deadlines
* Organising trade show stands, workshops and teaching courses in the UK and Europe which includes hotel reservations, transfers, flights, course books and liaison with senior officials and hospitals
* Liaison with congresses, pre-event planning and preparation of meeting venues
* Negotiating of rates/contracts and liaison with venues and suppliers
* Post event evaluation and financial reconciliation
* Complete running of meetings/events as agreed with the Marketing Services Manager & Divisional Directors
* Responsible for sourcing marketing material for congresses/events/workshops/teaching courses/etc
