We are now recruiting for HGV 2 Drivers to work throughout the Summer Season for a large airline catering company based at Gatwick Airport for the 2015 Season to start from April.

The Role:

The role involves driving heavy goods vehicles airside at Gatwick Airport. Your duties will be transporting bar carts between the warehouse and aircraft and round trip. There may be some heavy lifting and loading/unloading of vehicles.



Main responsibilities:

Driving a HGV 2 Vehicle

Loading and unloading vehicles

Decatering the aircraft/Catering the aircraft

Communicating with airline crew and other airport staff in a professional manner.

Working as part of a team, to strict deadlines and working in a methodical way.



Requirements:

Class 2 HGV Driving Licence

Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Digi Taco

CPC qualification

Must be able to provide a full 5 years checkable history and be able to undertake a Criminal Record Check.

Have your own safety boots

Working Hours:

All contracts will be fixed term until the end of season 2015. The hours are 40+ per week.

This is a shift work position including early morning, afternoons and nights.
