We are looking for a well-motivated person to work with customers and help with enquiries.

With experience of working in a customer care environment, you will enjoy working with library customers and have excellent communication and organisational skills. The role will involve assisting customers to use self-service, shelving returned items and other library/clerical tasks. You will be computer literate and have the ability to use your initiative and work effectively within the team. You will have active involvement in working with all ages, including children’s work (e.g. Baby Rhyme Time and Story Time).

The post is based at Crawley Library, with occasional visits to Broadfield Library which may include lone working and working with volunteers.

This is an active role and standing and lifting will be required.

Salary £15,207 - £15,941 per annum plus an enhancement for working 7.5 hours alternate Saturdays and an Outer Fringe Allowance
