Working with a market leading global business with the recruitment of an Assistant Treasurer to join their Crawley based Corporate Finance team

About You

* Be professionally qualified to include ACT and possibly CIMA, ACCA or ACA
* First class presentation and communication skills
* Possible experience of loan documentation and covenant compliance reporting
* Demonstrable experience of treasury accounting best practice
* The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
* Sound business and commercial acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture

This is an integral role within the treasury function which control treasury strategy, policies and procedures which are then subsequently rolled out across the business. There is therefore daily contact with treasury colleagues across from across the subsidiaries.

About the role:

* Key objectives of the Treasury department are effective risk management (foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity and security), short and long term capital planning (balance sheet structure, debt/equity mix) and building and maintaining key banking relationships.
* Manage the day to day treasury operations – cash management, forecasting and FX dealing
* To support the Head of Treasury in any refinancing
* Implement and enhance treasury controls, processes and governance
* Maximise working capital efficiencies
