Role Purpose:
To develop and grow business sales across Sussex and Surrey for this rapidly growing organisation in the Crawley area.

Duties:
Selling branded garments to businesses and establishments across Surrey and Sussex.
The role is split into three areas of business development; lapsed customers, existing customers and prospective customers.
It is not just a sales role but there will also be an element of customer service as the existing customer base represents a great opportunity for sales growth and there is a need to nurture and develop this.
You will also need to have good administrative skills and an eye for detail as you will be dealing with customer queries, checking the status of orders, preparing quotations, submitting tenders and contribute towards the design of marketing material.
You will need to develop a sales strategy and develop a marketing strategy alongside this. The use of social media is essential for research purposes and you will need to have skills in this area.
You may be required to attend exhibitions and trade shows occasionally.

Essential skills/experience:

* Previous business development experience and working to targets
* Stable work history
* Preferably experience within the garment/textile industry
* Car driver/owner
* Ability to compose and follow a sales and marketing plan
* Engaging personality
* Knowledge of the Sussex and Surrey area
