We are a children’s home based in Crawley, which offers residential short breaks or day care for children and young people with severe and moderate learning disability. Currently we are looking for a Cook who will prepare and promote a healthy and balanced diet within the house. You will have an opportunity to create your own menus in a homely environment to meet the diverse needs of the young people. You will also be required to carry out all aspects of kitchen duties to comply with Health & Safety and Hygiene regulations. Being part of the WSCC will give you an opportunity for training and development. Good written skills for completion of documents and good verbal communication skills are required to communicate with special needs pupils to encourage healthy eating choices and ensure positive experiences.
