Our client is currently seeking a creative, passionate and open minded Head Chef to work towards achieving further growth within their business in the Heart of Surrey. This unique pub and eatery does not only offer fantastic freshly cooked food sourced locally but also has its own farm shop! The pub serves an array of dishes over breakfast, lunch & dinner and provides menus which are put together using the best of their fresh ingredients from local suppliers.
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, with a great love of food who can show flair and imagination in using good quality fresh, local and seasonal produce to a very high standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar establishment working with large numbers whilst managing a versatile brigade. We would like to hear from people with a strong commercial/branded background to bring something to the table and share their knowledge.
As Head Chef you will be responsible for developing and moving a large team forward whilst ensuring consistency in the delivery of food. You will manage most of the financial aspects of the business within the kitchen controlling labour and stock costs whilst working in-line with budgets set by the powers above. Although the menus are changed quarterly which you will have involvement in this and it is your responsibility to change the specials daily keeping them exciting to the customers and experimenting with local produce and what's on offer.
