Role Purpose:
To develop and grow business sales across Sussex and Surrey for this rapidly growing organisation in the Crawley area.

Duties:
The role is split into three areas of business development; lapsed customers, existing customers and prospective customers.
It is not just a telesales role but there will also be an element of customer service as the existing customer base represents a great opportunity for sales growth and there is a need to nurture and develop this.
You will also need to have good administrative skills and an eye for detail as you will be dealing with customer queries, checking the status of orders, preparing quotations, submitting tenders and contribute towards the design of marketing material.
You will need to develop a sales strategy and develop a marketing strategy alongside this. The use of social media is essential for research purposes and you will need to have skills in this area.

You will be required to visit customers on their premises and there is a company branded vehicle for this when needed. Regularly customers will visit the offices and collect their orders which will involve you meeting and looking after them whilst they are onsite.
You may be required to attend exhibitions and trade shows occasionally.
