Fantastic opportunity to work in a very varied finance role for a very vibrant company in Crawley Town Centre. Very friendly, nice atmosphere, a good team environment. Working within the Finance team and reporting to the Finance manager you will be involved in the following:
• Bank reconciliations and processing
• Purchase ledger processing
• Credit Control
• Monthly document processing
• Profit and loss monthly statements
• Cash-flow statements
Skills required:
• Excellent use of excel spreadsheets including pivot tables and v look-ups
• Strong mathematical background and analytical ability
• Experience of working within a finance department
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Able to assist the finance manager with monthly accounts closing routines
• Ability to multi task and flexible to assist wherever required
• A team player who pulls together to get the job done
• Capable of identifying problems and resolving them
• Capable of self management and motivation to work on own initiative
Daily duties include:
• Upload bank transactions from bank and reconcile
• Provide weekly bank reconciliations of client and office accounts for senior management
• Coding and entry of purchase ledger invoices
• Twice monthly purchase ledger runs
• Manage commission processing monthly
• Responsibility of credit control within strict parameters
• Assist with daily administration duties and month end accounts closing
Working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
