**Catering Assistant - Reigate- £6.55 per hour -Contract Catering**
We are currently seeking a general Catering Assistant for a contract caterer based in the education sector.
Responsible for setting up service and preparing food for up to 1000 students and 250 staff, whilst ensuring that you work in a clean and efficient manner, adhering to all food hygiene procedures. You will be required to work both in the kitchen and servery counter as well as the occasional function including large weddings and events.
You will need to come from a similar contract catering background, with experience using fresh food at a high volume. A basic Food Hygiene certificate is preferable but not a necessity as training will be provided.
Hours of work are 5 over 7, 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the work this will include some evenings and weekends.
Due to the nature of the role you will be subject to references and a DBS check.
