We are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant to an join a leading independent Builders Merchant at their site in Crowborough. Working in a small team this role will involve dealing with a mixture of telephone, written and face to face enquiries from both trade and retail customers, our Sales Assistants are positive, pro-active sales people with a 'can do' attitude.

There will also be involvement in purchases, merchandising and stock control makes the role interesting and challenging, so applicants with previous Builders Merchant experience will have a distinct advantage.

A 45 hour basic week with opportunity for overtime is offered, along with a bonus scheme and discounted staff purchasing benefits.

Salary range will be from £16-18k per annum dependent on experience.
