The client: A leading financial management solutions company based in South Croydon are looking for a Team Leader to join there very successful team. The role: You will be responsible for the day to day management of Senior Collectors and Credit Recovery Officers which includes recruitment, motivation and disciplinary matters. Your duties will also include:-

  • Holding regular 121 meetings as well as monthly team meetings
  • Set individual targets and incentives for team members
  • Communicating professionally with clients on a day to day basis, dealing with any escalated calls and payments.
  • planning, prioritising and managing work loads to ensure best user of resources as well as looking at existing methods and creating improvements where necessary.
  • Analysing reports and resolving issues including performance targets of team members
  • Cover shifts as and when required and any other adhoc duties

    preferred skills

  • Previous experience within debt collection
  • Proven team leader experience ideally call / contact centre
  • People focused
  • Well organised
  • Ability to liaise at all levels and work to deadlines
  • Good working Knowledge of MS Word, Access and Outlook
