Citizens Advice Bureaux in West Sussex
As a result of winning the contract for Community Legal Advice Services in West Sussex, the three Citizens Advice Bureaux in West Sussex, comprising Central Sussex CAB, Adur and Worthing CAB and Arun and Chichester CAB, are setting up a new legal team.
We are recruiting three full-time or part-time solicitors specialising in Family Law and/or Housing. The salary will be £25,000 - £35,000 fte depending on experience. The housing solicitor will be required to start as soon as possible to carry out licensed work under the new contract and the rest of the team will be in place by 1st July.
We are looking for qualified solicitors with at least one year's PQE, who have experience of legal aid work. Family Law candidates need to be members of one of the following: The Law Society's Family Law Accreditation Scheme; or The Law Society's Children Panel Accreditation Scheme; or A Resolution Accredited Specialist.
We also require 3 full-time or part-time caseworkers, who can be law graduates with an LPC qualification or paralegals, with experience of family law. Salary £20,000 - £22,000 fte.
Candidates will have to be committed to the Aims and Principles of the CAB Service and be prepared to travel within West Sussex.
