Joining our Communications Team, you'll co-ordinate our PR programme. We'll look to you to maintain the profile of the South Downs, illustrating its value as a nationally protected landscape and helping manage the reputation of the South Downs Joint Committee during the transition period to a National Park Authority. You'll also be responsible for researching and drafting press releases, supporting the management and production of SDJC publications and providing marketing advice for events in liaison with the NPA Establishment Team.
With a broad knowledge of PR and marketing techniques, you'll have creative writing, ICT and communications skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time
Fixed term for: 6 months
East Sussex County Council are acting as the employer for the majority of the South Downs Joint Committee staff.
The South Downs Joint Committee is a result of a merger between the Sussex Downs Conservation Board and East Hampshire AONB Joint Advisory Committee.
It establishes one clear voice on issues across the South Downs.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time.
